Break my Chains

God will speak through the most mundane things.

Have you ever had to untangle the chains of necklaces? It seems like everything you do makes it worse.

The chains of sin can bind our hearts and make us feel trapped. We often try to fix it ourselves, and we find our lives like those necklaces so tangled that we can’t find a way out. The joy of being a child of God is that we don’t have to untangle or break free from these chains by ourselves. All we have to do is call out to Him and repent, and He will set us free.

Psalm 107 is a fantastic testament of God’s love for us. Over and over, it shows His power and how His love is constant and patient. We turn our backs, but he never leaves us alone. He is there waiting for us to call out to him. His love endures forever.

So thankful that He brought “me” out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away “my” chains. Psalm 107:14
