It’s okay not to be okay

Have you ever been tired of hiding behind a facade that everything is okay? Can I share something with you? You don’t have to hide; God knows how we feel. We can weep, cry, scream, pour our heart out to God, and let him know how deep our hurt is. Our tears are not a sign of a lack of faith; they are prayers. The Bible promises that he doesn’t let any tears go to waste.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8 NLT

So tonight, my friend, if you are hurting, cry out to God. He is waiting to provide the comfort that only He can. If you can’t form words for your prayers, He has you covered. Broken dreams, heartbreaks, sickness, whatever has you troubled, our Heavenly Father is there waiting to wrap His loving arms around you and hold you as you cry. Gently whispering, “I have you, my child; rest in me.”
