When life is overwhelming, take a moment, bow your head and use Deuteronomy 31:6 as a prayer to God.
Dear Lord, help me be strong and courageous. Lord, remind me that you have commanded me not to be terrified, for you are my Lord and my God. You walk with me every step, and you will never leave me nor forsake me.” Thank you for loving me, Lord. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.
As you open your eyes and move forward, remember that God’s love is perfect, constant, and comes in many different forms.
God’s love is
a friend or a family member calling to check on you.
a message you hear at church,
in the lyrics of a song.
a sunset or sunrise,
a rainbow reminding you of His promises of hope,
Your children’s hugs,
A smile from a stranger,
Or just an overwhelming sense of peace that you can’t explain.
God’s love was proven on a cross when he sent Jesus to die for our sins. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within us. We are children of God and His love is pure and true. I pray that you feel his presence and love as you go about your week.
I would love to hear how God showered you with his love this week.. Please share in the comments below.
