This week I have participated in the #HopeWrites Challenge. I love that we are ending the week with the word possibility. It leaves us looking forward to the future and all the possible paths God has for us on this journey.
Praying and seeking God’s advice
Over an opportunity,
Sitting
Still
Intently listening.
Beliving that the
Lord will provide direction,
Excited about the possibilities that lie ahead
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
He hears your heart. Seek Him and trust His guidance.
Here is a prayer to pray when seeking God about the possibilities ahead of you. It combines two of my favorite Psalms; Psalms 3:5-6 and Psalm 32:8.
Dear Lord, I will trust in you with all my heart and not lean on my understanding. In all my ways, I will acknowledge you, and I know that you will make my path straight. You have promised to instruct me and teach me in the way I should go. Let my ears hear your words, and my eyes see what you have laid out for me. Thank you, Lord, for loving me and giving me these opportunities. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.
