Moving Forward in to the Possible

Have you ever been so excited about the possibilities that lay ahead then out of nowhere, life stops you dead in your tracks? You feel like you are stuck in the mud and can’t break free.

Satan hates the word possibility. So when our hearts start to see God’s opportunity for us, we can expect the enemy to attack. He will throw every arrow at you to make it feel impossible. If we are not careful, self-doubt, discouragement, and frustration can take root.

So friend, how do we fight these attacks?. We fight them on our knees, and then we suit up with the armor of God.

Ephesians 6:13-18 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;  and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,  praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

We need to remember that our faith shouldn’t depend on our circumstances or emotions but the promises of God. Nothing will thwart God’s plans. We can stand on the security of Philippians 1:6:

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

When the opportunities come from God, hold firmly to your faith, sit at your Father’s feet and ask for His strength and guidance, and then rise and be ready to move forward in faith, trusting Him to take care of the path ahead.
