When you are gardening you learn the difference between weeding and trimming. I talked about wedding in one of my older posts. It was easy to think about, no one wants the bad stuff in our life. However, God has helped me see that even trimming of the “good” is required to keep our hearts beating for him.
We need to be faithful in seeking God’s direction through prayer and reading His Word. The Bible promises that He will lead us down the path we are to follow. The path to Him and a love that is far greater than we will ever understand.
So friend I challenge you to pray the same prayer that I will be.
“Lord search my heart and trim away the things that are taking priority over you. Help me focus on you and the path that you have set for me. Turn my heart back to you completely. Lord you are the reason for my hope and the reason I can move forward each day. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.”
