Regroup, what a perfect reminder for all of us in a busy season.
Life gets hectic, our focus gets streamlined on getting our tasks accomplished. Soon
exhaustion sets in and we realize that we are not spending the time with God that we need to. We use the excuse, when do I have time?
This is when we need to intentionally stop and regroup. We need to examine our priorities and turn to God for help and direction.
So many times we think that we only need to seek God for the big things in life. However, he wants us to ask for help for everything we do. He has a purpose for every season we face. He doesn’t expect us to do it alone.
Come to me all that are weary and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28-29) This rest means you will find peace in your soul. The type of peace where life can be crazy but you are grounded in the fact that your God has you in His hands and will take care of all of your needs.
He is waiting to help you. We just need to stop and seek Him. He will give us the strength and rest we need for whatever season we find ourselves in.
