So thankful for the Light God provides us. Jesus was sent to be our light. No matter how dark our days get we can always look toward the light and hope we have in Jesus.
It is important to remember though, while we may want the entire path flooded with light, He knows exactly how much light we need for the next step.
We are sometimes like little kids who don’t want to wait for their parents so they run ahead only to stumble and fall. Their parents were trying to protect them. They could see the road ahead. God sees what is ahead for us and is protecting us by only shining just the right amount of light for us to move forward.
Trust Him and seek His light while remembering Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Lord, The road may be dark but you have promised that you will be there every step of the way. Help us look toward your light and keep moving forward. Thank you for loving us. In Jesus’s name, we pray, Amen.
