Stay at God’s Feet

We often act like we have life under control, and we can handle it. When what we need to do is to give our lives to God and let Him have control. We need to fall at his feet and give him every aspect of our life. Several times in the Bible, Jesus is called a teacher. As small children, we sit at our teacher’s feet to listen and learn. How much could we learn if we stay at Jesus’ feet and truly listen? Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

When life is confusing, sit at his feet and ask for help.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

When life feels like it is crushing, you lay at his feet and let him take that burden.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

When life is full of joy and happiness, kneel at his feet and give him thanks!!

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.” Psalm 9:1

In other words, no matter what life has to offer us ~ we need to stay at his feet and trust him to guide us through.
